Centaurea Montana the perennial blue cornflower loved by bees and butterflies. Has violet blue flowers mainly in early summer but can repeat flower again if dead headed. It has attractive grey green leaves that are hairy underneath. Grows well in sun or shade in a variety of soils but does best in moist soil. Grows to a height of 45cm and spread of 60cm.
