Pinkish red buds appear in February and open to form blush white flowers on the twisting stems of this attractive cherry which grows naturally on the slopes of Mount Fuji. Leaves have good autumn colour turning shades of orange and red. Plant in full sun or part shade to show off the flowers to their best in moist free draining soil. Grows very slowly to a height and spread of 2.5 m after 50 years, ideal for small gardens or can be grown in a container.  Very hardy.
