A fantastic architectural plant that adds height and drama to a border, it has exotic shiny green leaves with tiny mahogany -purple flowers forming a soft dome-head on thick dark red stems from July to October.  This is a biannual or short lived perennial so it may well die in its second year, although if the situation is right it can self seed. Hardy, very attractive to bees, other pollinators and butterflies makes an excellent cut flower.  Grows to a height of 120cm and spread of 45cm.
