Kniphofia 'Bees Lemon'

An attractive kniphofia for a hot border or for contrasting with cooler blues and purples. The buds open green gradually turning a deep yellow on bronze tinted stems giving a good display over a long period from late summer. Grow in either full sun or part shade in moist well drained, humus rich soil where they will grow to a height of 1m and spread of 60cm. Though hardy dislikes wet soil in winter so mulching is advisable.
