Upright stems carry whorls of lavender coloured, hooded flowers at regular intervals over a mound of heart shaped green leaves which gradually darken with age. Flowers from July to September, makes a good cut flower and is attractive to bees and butterflies yet resistant to rabbits. Will grow in full sun or part shade in any moist well drained soil. Grows to a height of 90cm and spread of 60cm.
