Spikes of violet blue flowers appear from June to August and again in October if faded flower stalks are removed. The flowers and light grey green aromatic foliage contrast nicely with the dark maroon stems. The flowers are a magnet for bees and butterflies. Grow in full sun in light, fertile moist but well drained soil. Grows to a height of 60cm and spread of 45cm
