Is a deciduous perennial with heart shaped green bronze tinged evergreen leaves pale primrose yellow flowers appear in sprays above the leaves in spring the leaves gradually turning green. Can be grown in full sun and part shade and will tolerate slightly drier soils although should be protected from drying winds. Grows to a height and spread of 50cm.
