A compact variety with violet purple flowers with a yellow centre they flower from August to October and have lance shaped mid green leaves. Grow in sun or dappled shade in moist soil where it will grow to a height and spread of 60cm mulch with garden compost or manure in spring. Very hardy and attracts birds, bees and butterflies whilst resistant to deer it also makes an excellent cut flower.
