Stunning large deep blue cones on a crown of deep blue bracts on dark blue stems over rosettes of dark green marbled leaves. In flower from July through September if deadheaded although the seed heads provide winter interest and seed for birds. Stunning close to front of border adding accent and drama. Grow in full sun in moist fertile well drained soil. Hardy and attractive cut or dried flower.
