Very dark almost black, purple flowers over mid green, lobed leaves. Is very flexible in terms of position as can be grown in full sun, deep or part shade. Flowers from May through June. Loved by pollinators but resistant to rabbits. Very hardy. Grows to a height of 75cm and spread of 75cm by 75cm
