A recent improved variety of Echinacea this lovely one has deep pink daisy flowers and contrasting green cones with a bright orange tip. The leaves are dark green. Echinacea can be tricky to grow especially over winter as they don't do well with winter wet it's best to plant them in an open situation where they can take advantage of dry free flowing air around the crown whilst retaining some moisture at the roots. They are attractive to butterflies, make a good cut flower and are deer resistant. Grow in full sun or part shade in any soil tolerates clay and sandy soils. Grows to a height of 90cm and spread of 60cm. Frost hardy.
