The tall flower spikes of Veronicastrum Cupid are thicker than those of other varieties from purple buds opening to lilac lavender blue colour. Like other Veronicastrum the flowers are arranged in whorls around the stem. An excellent border plant providing height and structure also is stunning in prairie planting schemes, attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators it makes an excellent cut flower. Grow in any moist well drained soil in full sun or part shade where it can reach a height of 250m and 50cm spread. Very hardy.
