Chaenomeles x superba ' Cameo'
One of the most lovely flowering quince available from spring double peachy pink flowers 3-5cm across attract pollinating insects to their rich nectar. In autumn the yellow fruits can be used to make quince jelly. Prune after flowering taking care as they are quite thorny! Good for growing as part of a hedge and also on walls and fences, will tolerate some shade eg on a north facing site but do better in full sun. Hardy.
