This unusual echinacea has drooping thin yellow petals surrounding a dark brown cone attractive to bees and butterflies, it flowers from August through October. Associating well with ornamental grasses, salvia, geranium, kniphofia and Perovskia. Grows to a height of 1m and spread of 50cm in most soils not too dry or boggy. The fragrant blooms make excellent cut flowers and are attractive to butterflies. Very hardy.
