Monarda fistulosa

American wild bergamot is a clump forming perennial it has soft scented foliage and pretty pink mauve flowers which form attractive seed heads. In flower during August and September it is attractive to bees butterflies and other pollinators it grows to a height of 75cm and spread of 45cm. It grows well on most soil, is very hardy in sun or part shade. Very hardy.
