Phytostegia virginiana 'Vivid'

This award winning perennial provides numerous tall light purple flowers with speckled throats on sturdy  spikes  from July to September.  It looks great planted in drifts and combines well with asters giving vertical accents. Makes an excellent cut flower and is attractive to pollinators. Grow in a moisture retentive soil in sun or part shade where it will reach a height of 80cm and spread of 60cm.  Hardy to -12c.
