This upright bushy sage plant with its upright spires of purple, pink buds open to hooded lilac, purple flowers providing colour from midsummer to autumn. Reaching a height of 1m and spread of 60cm it looks excellent at the front of borders or in drifts in prairie style planting. Very attractive to bees and butterflies. Grow in full sun in fertile moist well-drained soil. Fully Hardy.
