Sanguisorba obtusa

Above attractive grey green leaves rimmed pink, branching stems carry large rose pink bottle brush flowers that arch over as they age. Flowering  from July through September it goes well with grasses, monarda and eryngium. Grows to a height of 90cm and spread of 75cm in full sun or part shade where they catch morning or evening sun in moist fertile soil very hardy and wildlife friendly but said to be resistant to rabbits.
