Saponaria officionalis 'Flore Pleno'
Commonly known as Soapwort (sap from the stems and roots was mixed with water to make a lather soap, useful for washing fabrics that can be damaged by synthetic soaps) This pretty pale pink double variety though vigorous is less invasive than the common single form. A British native useful for ground cover on rough banks where it can spread to over 1 m though it is easily removed by pulling. Hardy and attractive to pollinators.H
