Sisyrinchium idahoense var idahoense 

Is a semi evergreen clump forming perennial with lance shaped leaves and blue flowers with yellow throats in summer. Plant in full sun in poor or moderately fertile well drained soil, ideal at the front of a border where it makes a good contrast to more mat forming plants, alkaline to neutral soil. Grows to a height and spread of 50cm
