A compact low growing dense mound forming alpine with narrow emerald green aromatic leaves and lavender pink flowers from late spring to mid summer. Prized for it's cushion like growth making it ideal for small places and between pavers. Best grown in full sun, with well drained soil. It grows to a height of 3-7cm and spread of 30-45cm, making it perfect for walkways releasing a pleasant scent when walked upon. The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. Hardy in zones 4-9.
