Veronicastrum Apollo

A stunning accent plant or back of border plant this variety has foot long spikes of blue wands covered in tiny blue flowers with secondary spikes forming as whorls along the stems. Excellent in naturalistic prairie style plantings. Flowering from late June to mid August it is attractive to bees and other pollinators and makes a great cut flower. A hardy perennial and said to be deer and rabbit resistant. Best grown in full sun in a moisture retentive soil where it can reach a height of 150cm tall and spread of 90cm.
